F250 Stock Wheels With 35s

The 285/75r18 is a 35 tire, it is just 1 narrower than a 35×12.50. In order to get this super duty leveled out and ready for action we grabbed a new leveling kit, 35 toyo open country tires and 20 fuel maverick. It's an excellent tire for these trucks, has a very high load rating (4080 lbs at 80 psi).

Two things, if i had a lift or much bigger tires i wouldn’t be able to tow my 5th wheel. I have 275/65r20 on it now. These are, i think 31.6 diameter when new.

Your 4.56 gears on 37's are like having 4.25 gears on stock tires. My 35 x 12.50 on my rubicon are 96 lbs each the stock tires are 32 and weigh 44 lbs. That is a 34 tire and i still have room to play.

I was just confirming that 35's do fit a f250 at stock height on stock wheels. I'll most likely go with aftermarket 18 wheels. I have to admit, i am incredibly happy with the stock tires in conjunction with the carli 2.5 coils.

37×13.50r20lt toyo open country m/t. For most people, 35s versus 37’s is more of an aesthetic issue. I plan to go with the real 35 x 12.50 size on some custom offset wheels, the stock tires and wheels are pizza cutters.

For my trx i'd prefer to stick with 35s. 20×9 wheels are an extremely popular choice for the f250s and f350s, and work well on a huge variety of truck builds and applications both on and off the road. A calculator says 3.80:1 if you have 3.55 gears and go from stock 275/65/r30 (34.5) to 37 tires.

After several attempts with different sized spacers, i've have achieved the look i wanted. Also can i fit 35s with no lift or leveling? This is a big truck and comes stock with 35s.

I'm getting ready to put new tires on my 2008 f250 super duty. 37s ain’t no thing for it. I just had my truck lifted with the carli 2.5 coil springs and i figured that i would keep the stock tires on to see how it looked before making a decision to swap out to 37’s.

I ran 37s on my f250. Like most trucks straight off the showroom floor, our 2017 f250 project truck came with a lot of front rake, which gave it a goofy look and limited our choices in tire size. 44 inch tires and your 4.56 gears about the same ratio as 3.55 gears and 34.5 tires.

Tires on it now are 265/70/r17. I am betting the weight of the tire and wheels are about 100 lbs each. Son in law has 20 f250 with 6” lift and big tires.

I'm not looking to run 37s. I really don't want to trim anything. Jeep comes stock with like 32” tires and is a tiny vehicle.

If so, did you tire swap because you wanted a different look, wanted a particular brand, etc? I'm just wondering about the width. 34.6” on 12.4” x 16” if you are prepared to fit a 2” lift you can comfortably fit 35”x12.5” r20.
